"Occupy Wall Street" Organizers: We're Loud, We're Here, We're Deliberately Unclear!

The activists who have camping out in Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan since Sept. 17 to protest the power, wealth, and indifference of America's major financial institutions are excited by increased attention and support for their cause -- but don't ask for specific policy proposals just yet. "We're just getting started," said one leading activist at the protest site.

p.s., they do have a list of issues plus the great slogan, "We are the 99%"!

1. The only thing they're completely united on
is that the expansion of corporate power has got to stop, that the whole financial industry has got to be reined in, and that the 400 men who consider themselves masters of the universe need to be forced to pay their fucking taxes, a lot of fucking taxes

This is not a bunch of wild eyed leftists. This one is solidly centrist, the first solidly centrist movement I've ever seen.

The inside the beltway boys have just forgotten how far left the center really is, and I sincerely hope that destroys them.

2. In a negotiation, ambiguity isn't always bad.
"I'm pissed so I'm blocking the bridge" is more effective than a well articulated civil protest on a three-point plan confined to the proscribed limits within the designated free speech zone.
