2. He'll still be the butt of jokes. Pun intended.
He will steal the limelight from the prez, whoever that might be, and be the one the press goes after because he's so colorful. That won't set well with the likes of Perry or Romney. Maybe Cain can get the prez nomination and we can had a comedy team. Both are pretty vocal.

6. Not a bad choice, but not with Romney
If the role of the VP candidate is to be the attack dog while the top of the ticket looks presidential, Christie's actually not a bad choice -- except that Romney's going to be at the top of the ticket, and that combo will keep conservatives home. Romney's VP is going to need to be a sop to the Tea Party, and that sure ain't Christie.
