Florida Dept of Corrections summary of white supremacist symbols:

A nod to Mark Thompson on Sirius Left satellite radio, whose guest discussed this briefly. "Make it Plain" http://www.sirius.com/siriusleft

2. and a christian symbol! and my nephew drew it on a picture of a frog!
it's a cross. It's used a lot of places. In terms of Palin, it was used as a gun sight.

3. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar
Not a lot of variation in depictions of gunsights.

Thought I guess there's a possibility Palins camp put out a double secret gunsight symbol on that stupid map.

10. The caption made clear what was meant - "Don't retreat, reload." The gunman in Tucson did what he
was told - he was reloading when tackled by a citizen. Thanks Sarah :(

19. Speaking of Celts. St. Brigid's cross is
a form of swastika. The Swastika a really old pagan symbol that isn't nefarious until Hitler pee'd all over it.

13. Actually the white supremacists use Odin's cross as the inspiration
not the celtic cross, though they are similar looking.

It's was also the signature used by the zodiac killer

11. There was no question what those symbols were until after the attack in Tuscon
I have no idea why anyone gives an credibility at all to the post-Tuscon fibs of that malevolent grifter.

That I've ever seen. I mean, really? A white supremacist symbol?

I once drew a star and then drew a circle around it when I was in elementary school...I MUST BE A SATANIST

A white supremacist message is potent in Arizona: the state that was hyped on the "hate the Mexicans" issue. Look at the laws they instituted: one must show documentation if the authorities want to "question" you (if you "look like a Mexican".

18. I guess it's not as obvious as a swastika or
the Palin backers would probably use it instead.
