Eric Holder Investigation: GOP Presses For Probe Into Attorney General's Possible Perjury
In order for the new voter suppression rules to work, the GOP needs to neutralize Eric Holder and his ability to reject requests to alter voting rules in states that have requested it. This investigation will tie up Holder in red tape while the leftovers from the Bush admin who are still in the Justice Department can operate unmonitored. Obama should have removed all of them.

7. Holder was a poor appointment at DOJ.
POTUS Obama should have cleaned house in the DOJ.

Sadly, we all live with what POTUS Obama's decisions.

If Holder perjured to Congress, Holder should be appropriately punished.

POTUS Obama left open wide flanks to political attack and did not direct the DOJ to go after war and financial criminals.

Darrell Issa to Eric Holder: Admit you knew

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is turning up the heat on Eric Holder, demanding the attorney general “come forward and at least admit” he knew about Operation Fast and Furious long before he told Congress he learned about the gun program.

The chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said Wednesday that Holder “failed” to properly answer questions during a May House Judiciary Committee hearing about when he first learned about the controversial gun program.

“He may or may not have perjured himself, but he certainly failed to answer my questions and Jason Chaffetz’s questions about what did he know — he implied he knew nothing when in fact he at least knew something,” Issa said on Fox News. “We certainly would like to believe that he was disingenuous but not lying. The fact is, the people who are making those statements on his behalf are lying on his behalf, period.”

The California Republican insisted that Holder “had to know” about Fast and Furious from his weekly briefings, citing at least seven separate memos that he said included information about the program. In addition, Holder’s “number two and number three” at the DoJ were “intimately involved,” Issa
