College students, nurses to join Occupy Boston protests
By Jaime Lutz, Globe Correspondent

Local college students and nurses are planning to join protests for Occupy Boston, a movement drawing attention to social inequities in the nation’s financial system that began in New York and has spread to other cities.

The students say they will walk out of their classes at noon and join the demonstration in Dewey Square, across from South Station, according to a statement on the Occupy Boston website.

The Massachusetts Nurses Association is also calling on its members to join the Occupy Boston protests at 3 p.m.
