He's saying they are about "get the money out" so it looks like his petition drive is really picking up steam.
Meanwhile his sensibility, republican and anti-Obama, the two parties are the same (but Republicans get a pass with him quite a bit more often than Dems considering their fault in the mess), is NOT what the protesters are about. There are UNIONS involved for one thing, and Ratigan could give a rat's ass about the unions.

The Libertarians overemphasize the value of "liberty" for the individual. That should be the result of achieving the other goals set forth in the Preamble.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, \ do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
In my experience, Libertarianism is mostly a philosophy that permits greedy, obnoxious fools to justify their self-centered lifestyle.
It is very attractive because of the simplicity of its logic. But it doesn't work.
I wonder if Dylan Ratigan is married. If so, has he ever thought about what would happen to one of his children who had serious learning difficulties in a world in which the only thing that counted was your ability to scratch your way to the top of the heap and excel?
The Libertarian, Ayn Rand philosophy is completely unworkable. And it is utterly incompatible with Judeo-Christian values. People don't grasp just how contrary it is to Judeo-Christian (in fact any sort of religious or humanist) values because they don't think about those values.
I agree with Dylan Ratigan on many things, but spend a morning in watching the proceedings of an arraignment court in Compton, California, and you will understand its serious limitations in the real world. It leaves too many of us behind. It does not deliver justice. And neither does the social order we now have.

FDL has been promoting OWS for months. They've been one of the biggest endorsers and supporters of this event and they've done a superb job covering it from day one.
Maybe you should put aside your hatred of the organizers and members of this movement and aim your barbs at the financial criminals. It's way past time to get over your personal vendetta against Hamsher and start working for real change, unless you are just another Wall Street apologist (and unfortunately, there are many on this board).
