HOLY SHIT! Is MSNBC off the mark on the Occupation!
Did I just hear Ratigan and Capeheart try and find similarities between the Tea Party and the Occupation?!!! Did I also hear them say the TP was also an organic uprising?!!!

NEWSFLASH: I've been down to Wall Street 3x already, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING LIKE THE TEA PARTY! They are for the most part THE NEW AMERICAN LEFT!

While the fucking TP spent the last 2 years coddling the 1%, THESE PEOPLE ARE THE OTHER 99%!

While the TP spent 2 years wanting smaller, less active Govt, these people are fighting for a more PRO-ACTIVE GOVT!

While the TP practices voter suppression and anti-workers rights these people are trying to EXPAND democracy!

While the TP worships the Koch Bros these people want to eliminate them!

DO NOT Let the Tea Party even DARE to try and co-opt this movement!

DO NOT let ANYONE forget who those fuckers were shilling for and what their REAL AGENDA is!

SHAME on MSNBC for perpetuating this BS!

THIS IS OUR MOMENT, THIS IS OUR MOVEMENT!

He is trying to co-opt the Occupy movement into some sort of bipartisan "third way" bullshit.

6. And Smerconich is trying to make it "is this good or bad for Obama"
which, IMO, is beside the point. But everything on MSNBC seems to devolve, eventually, into blue and red rather than ideas.

10. the media is becoming irrelevent... over time they are part of the problem
I expect nothing but propaganda for them... they will do what they can to protect their financial interests, and those interests are the same interests on Wall Street.

12. Smerconish is trying to say these people do not represent Middle
America.

He showed Newt Gingrich exploiting the H--- out of the issue.
Newt said this movement is result of Obama's failure.
He promised them hope and change. Now they are on the street.

Who is more middle American than Union Members and teachers??

Smerconish tried to imply it would hurt the Democrats.

They are now marching back from City Hall to "Liberty" Park - It's a huge and diverse group. And far more interesting than bogus observations on MSNBC.

18. I heard Jonathan Capehart say that. Ugh.
I usually like Capehart's reporting on most issues so I was dumbfounded by how wrong he was about the Tea Party. No mention of the Koch brothers and Dick Armey in the creation of the teabagger myth?

19. It's mostly Dylan putting this crap out - He said on his show yesterday that he "believed" in the
Tea Party when they first came out because he said they were "grass roots" - little does he know evidently. He is also stirring the group into his "bill" that he is pushing to take money out of politics. I think he is a "legend in his own mind" and needs to step back and let the OWS Group make their own vision!

Every tea bagger rally I've seen pictures of had maybe about 50 old white overweight people on scooters. I think a picture comparison would be hilarious.
