ShitiBank to the poor and average Americans: "Fuck You, 99ers." |
|
Shitibank will now charge you twenty bucks a month for the privilege of allowing them to hold you money unless you maintain a minimum balance of $15,000.
Yeah.
Fifteen Thousand.

2. Who the fuck has $15,000 to leave in the bank? |
|
Maybe they can just write off the fees as part of the payback for the money they "borrowed" from the taxpayers.

5. I'm guessing they count a mortgage as part of that. Basically, they want ALL your money. |

We have an account with a regional bank where all fees are waived, even money order fees and the like, because we "have $25,000 or more with the bank". We don't have anywhere close to that much money, but we do have a 90k mortgage with them.
But still, this is a complete bullshit move on Citi's part. The bank we're with doesn't charge fees just to HAVE an account with them! And they pay a cashback % on debit cards used as credit cards, for fuck's sake.
