It is coming, do you hear it? Can you feel it?
If you have not read the Declaration of Occupation issued four days ago by a group of people who identified themselves as: "The New York General Assembly", you need to.

Here is the "preamble" to their Declaration:

"As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known."

The Occupy Wall Street movement has grown to dozens of American cities and towns across this nation in such a short time, it is amazing. America's Corporate News agencies have paid scant, obligatory attention to Occupy Wall Street, perhaps hoping it will fade away.

This group, The New York General Assembly" has given voice to the anger, frustration, fear and desperation of millions upon millions of Americans in a way that just might ignite another American Revolution similar to the Civil Rights era.

We may be witnessing a "Declaration of Independence" from the tyranny of over-reaching Corporations, and the blind, unchecked greed that has allowed banks to steal homes from under the feet of hard-working Americans, sell dangerous products with little fear of recrimination.

It has allowed our jobs to be sent overseas by greedy "Job Creators" who are raking in billions in profits while our poor die in the streets. We witnessed the GOP stand firmly behind BP Petroleum and apologize to BP when President Obama asserted BP would be held responsible for the deaths and environmental damage.

The GOP is willing to let the dying and destruction to continue so that their agenda: To make Obama a one-term President, a reality. We can all die tomorrow and Boehner & company would not shed a tear (And we all know how easily Boehner sheds tears). This has to stop and it is up to us to stop it.

I am the 99%, and if this is a new American Revolution, I have to decide just how much I love my Country and how hard will I fight for her.

3. This is different frm what Keith read yesterday.
It didn't mention the GOP or Obama. I like it much better without it. Both parties are culpable and the Dems have not led on any of the fundamental issues. Nor do I see the party really taking a stand.
