Holy S#@! ABC just covered the Koch brothers on the morning show

Not a flattering portrait--trading with Iran, etc. Never thought I'd see a major network criticize Koch in any way.

THIS is the type of thing I want to know and read about on DU when I'm not able to watch the news myself . What is being covered on a widely watched, network news show. That's going to tell me what the media is doing and it is media that actually has an impact. I'd rather hear that this is going on then read a million "OMG MIKA JUST SAID......." or "OMG MORNING JOKE HAS ON SOME DOUCHEBAG...."

Nobody watches those shows except political junkies with already formed opinions and they have zero impact on our discourse (except in that our politicians watch them and want desparately to please those clowns) among ordinary people.

7. Perhaps they are seeing the tide turn with the protesters taking

to the streets in different states. Maybe (just maybe) someone is smart enough to think they should get ahead of the story while all of the other networks and cable focus on stupid shit.
