2. What Harry did last night is a lot more important to the nation than any "Occupied" City
This is something that will really make adifference whereas the Occupy this or that city movements, while wonderful to behold, will eventually accomplish nothing.

3. Are you serious?
If it were not for the growing uprising against BOTH parties and the financial system they BOTH are in thrall to, do you really think Reid would have done anything?

He's had YEARS to do the right thing. He finally moves his ass when the middle-class takes to the streets.

Coincidence?

4. Exactly. what stooped him from doing this before?
nothing.

only now he decides to play "hardball".

the barn doors are wide open, the water has long passed under the bridge, etc...

only now.

just think, if this fool had done this before, just think of what would have been accomplished?

national health care, anyone?

7. 6 months from now you won't even remember it happened, and no one in Congress will
It is as obvious as the nose on a face that the Occupy (fill in a city or town) will have absolutly no long lasting effect, or even much of a short term one. It is a movement without purpose or power, it lacks organization, focus, and meaningful support. That and a little bit of bad weather and it will go away like the common cold. If you think it will amount to anything meaningful having been accomplished you are deluding yourself.

6. I suspect what Reid did is being exaggerated
but I might be wrong, what did Reid do and what difference did it make?
