Think of it as a warning shot across the bow, Masters of the Universe. You can change course, or you can keep going the way things are, building your twisted society that screws over the many in service of the few. The many are coming together and figuring things out for themselves without your input, though. A nod is as good as a wink.

Not saying it couldn't change in an instant, but so far, OccupyPortland has been almost completely non-violent and non-confrontational (with the cops, that is).

12. This morning's Oregonian went on to say that the crowd grew to at least 10,000

because Pioneer Square, which holds 10,000, was packed + spillover.

If we can continue to grow the numbers and keep up the pressure, surely our politicians will eventually feel the pressure to make changes in the the system.

18. I was there. Great crowd, talked to the cops, who were calm,

got me a tee shirt and talked with some other vets.

I hope that this continues, I hope the message gets honed and the middle class gets it.
