Santorum: Obama should distance himself from Occupy Wall Street
Looks like Senator Frothy Mix thinks he's giving some helpful advice to Obama. Of course Frothy is looking out for Obama's bests interests. I mean, he only wants what's best for him, right?

Santorum: Obama should distance himself from Occupy Wall Street
By Daniel Strauss - 10/07/11 09:36 AM ET

President Obama should distance himself from the Occupy Wall Street protesters, former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) said.

"This is the hard core of the Democratic Party, which, if I were Barack Obama — and I'm not giving advice to the president — I would certainly distance myself from," Santorum, who is running to replace Obama in 2012, said Friday on CNBC. "He's got those folks, what he's having problems with is the rest of America who's suffering because he's been listening too much to those folks."

Santorum's comments come a day after Obama said at a press conference that the New York protesters, objecting to the wealthy 1 percent of Americans represented by Wall Street, said the protests are an expression of the American peoples' frustrations.

"I think it expresses the frustrations the American people feel," Obama said Thursday.

You know what this means, right? Obama should fully embrace the Occupy Wall Street protesters. The Republicans are like a reverse barometer. Whatever they say is the best thing to do, Obama should do the opposite.

2. Every single time I see the word "santorum"
my brain sees "scrotum"

It's the dyslexia but one in a while it works oddly appropriately.

9. Every single time I see the word "santorum"
My mind pictures a medical detention center (sanitarium) - which is where he should be - if all things are equal.

7. Santorum's reasoning is senseless on its own terms
In one breath, Rick says that OWS "is the hard core of the Democratic Party," and in the very next, that the President should stay away from it. Has anyone told Rick what party Mr. Obama nominally belongs to? Is Rick going to distance himself from the hard core of the Republican Party - which is to say, will he take his own stupid advice?

What. A. Nitwit.

12. Huh?
OWS is in the streets because Obama has given the store away and calls it compromise and has Wall Street toadies like Geithner setting economic policy. OWS is the result of voting for one thing in November 2008 and getting another.

The President has not been listening to the protesters at all. As the protests gained strength, he was on Wall Street hat in hand looking for campaign funds.

The problem is that the President has been listening too much to the 1%, and Santorum belongs to a party that would like to suppress the votes of the other 99%.

The only thing more frustrating than a low information voter is a low information candidate for president.

13. Oh, so he's admitting that the "hard core" Democrats
are a large majority of the U.S.? What happened to their "silent majority" I keep hearing about here in WI? They've dwindled to a couple of fools going to rallies and front people they throw up on TV once in a while.

20. OWS should distance themselves from politicians.

If the President is smart he will get behind the OWS movement and back it to the hilt!
