3. No, because time is irrelevant. So is that rag that takes on the name of what used to be a great
magazine.

6. Not at all! Assange earned people's vote- it's good enough outcome - Time revealed its own stupidity
By the way I can not vote because the stupid ad is blocking me !

8. No. It was more interesting than anything that Assange got so much suupport
when the presstitutes keeping telling us how unpopular Wikileaks is and that they themselves had to choose a guy who got 1/20 of the votes Assange did. That was amusing.

10. It isn't even relevant anymore. I mean, come on - a wanker who got rich on a glorified blog site?
He's so far down on the list of useful people that it is silly for Time to have even considered him.

11. Would have been surprised if he were.
"Time Magazine" and "gutsy move" don't go together. Time is the official chronicler of the establishment.

12. Other: I think it's LAUGHABLE that they'd choose Zuckerberg over him.
But who gives a shit? Time sucks and its readership is low and aging. Just proves what they think is irrelevant.

13. man of the year - just means having an effect - doesn't specify good or bad
and more people are on facebook than have heard of Assange. Although I am not crazy about the facebook CO getting named either. These are serious times.

16. No, I was expecting it as Time was being consistent with their corporate supremacist point of view.

One thing I do wonder about though, Time says they don't choose their "Person of the Year" based on the issue of good and evil, but I wonder if they were saying the same thing when they chose Hitler as their "Man of the Year" in the 30s or did they amend their criteria after Hitler became viewed as all-consuming evil?

Thanks for the thread, PBS Poll.
