Edited on Fri Oct-07-11 11:33 PM by lifesbeautifulmagic
and she just FB'd me, and said she overheard a police officer say that they expect somewhere between 20,000 and 40,000 people tomorrow.

I hope to make it 40,001.

6. I'll be there
so will my son and at least two other people who I have conversed with on the internet for years, but have not yet met (although, that is planned...).

Perhaps we'll see each other there. :hi:

8. DU Meetup?
Want to organize that?

(I've been down once this week and it was great, but I've been having trouble getting my apolitical friends and boyfriend to go w/ me.)

11. I'd love to! trying to find my last DU sticker around somewhere...
a fellow DUer (Seattle Girl and her daughter) spotted me with a DU sticker at the protest on the day of the 2nd Bush inauguration...was so great to be around someone familiar in the almost overwhelming swarm.

Send me a PM if you like, would be cool to meet up.

10. That Is If The Unions That Have Lend Support Show

I don't think Westlake Park could even fit 2000...much less 40k

Maybe the cops were smoking something.
