email sent to CNN... they should be embarrased
I know, I know according to you the Occupy Wall Street have no set of demands. Yet, Keith Olberman was able to read same on Countdown... and Mexican Media has listed them too. You should be embarrased to think that your viewers are idiots. Oh and while at it, Aristegui's inverview with an economist from the ITAM was able to also cite the demands on CNN en Español. You should be embarrrased... why CNN is hardly the first name in news...

Here is a hint... use the google, find either Occuppy Wall Street, or Countdown on Current to find them demands...

2. Truth is...
... the movement doesn't need a set of demands. It's an occupation.

6. I would not call them demands as much as declarations
similar to our Declaration of Independance.

These are assertions made by people who are tired of being thought of and treated as a means for 1% to grow more wealthy at their expense.

7. Perhaps reading the british press at the time
would be iluminating.

They are demands insofar as they were issued in a democratic assembly by people tired of what is going on... and like the brits who saw them as demands, these are demands in the same way.

Hell, I expect CNN to declare them terrorists soon, the same way Parlaiment declared us terrorists.

8. I quit with CNN nine yrs ago this month.
The day that Wellstone's plane went down.

A sad day.

A local Eveleth MN reporter was out in the airfield, explaining to her TV audience that the weather ws not a fctor.

Fromm out of nowhere, Wolf Blitzer arrived on the scene, yanked her microphone away from her, and preceeded to tell the nation that "the weather was the cause of the accident." Really?

First of all, how did Blitzer get to Minnesota so quickly?

Second of all, how did a plane that had two pilots, and that was about to land, with no reports of trouble, suddenly go down?

Around that same time, a locla resident noticed some weird behavior regarding his garage door. SOmething that can occur when you ahve micro wave frequencies that are off the chart.

13. In mexico city the choice is... drum roll
CNN, CNN-I slightly better... CNN en Español, which is pretty good at night... Fox or bloomberg... (for us nooz) You also have Deutche Welle, BBC News, Spanish News and of course a panoply of national channels...

And the contrast by the way between CNN and CNN-I is astounding.

14. I know very little Spanish, but the way that the Spanish stations handle
News items like nurses' strikes is far superior to the way those events are handled by the English language stations.

The coverage revolves more around the workers than the "Free Market Capitalism, workers should just shut up and work" notions of the English language stations.
