Bill Maher, Stop knocking the OWS 99%! |
|
Bill, I love you, rarely miss your show, but what the hell were you thinking? You're mockery undermines the OWS. This is a game-changing serious, national and international uprising and awakening dammit, so cut it out!
THANK GOD ALAN GRAYSON set it straight!

1. Maybe he was just doing the set-up |
|
for Grayson's smack-down. It seemed to work out that way.

2. That was my take on it as well. |
|
And Bill Maher is just . . . well, he's Bill Maher. Offending others is his thing.

3. It undermines Maher's credibility, in my opinion... |
|
because it's very clear what OWS is about, and he's purposely trying to obscure the message.

once saying he did not share Michael Moore's views on Capitalism. Maybe this spills over into OWS too, I have no idea ...

6. Bill Maher, for some strange reason, is |
|
thought of as a liberal. He's not. He's actually very conservative, just not religious right conservative.
Any time I watch him I almost invariably find myself disagreeing with him, thinking he's totally wrong about whatever it is he's saying. I haven't bothered to pay attention to him in years.

8. Maher is a racist, misogynistic douchebag who cashes his |
|
checks from corporate America. Why are people surprised he's acting like a dick?

11. He compares Obama to Suge Knight and other rappers |
|
or hip-hoppers with regularity.
Because what Harvard-trained lawyer hasn't been associated with gangsta rap?

13. Maher's also an anti-vaccination woo woo goober |
|
He's right on some things; evolution, pot legalization, fighting censorship or other doily-clutching puritannical ninnies... he's usually a fair voice for modest Democratic concerns like health coverage, and he makes good fun of Republicans.
But, he's not always right.
