GOP counter-protesters chicken out at Occupy Huntington

A representative with the Marshall University College Republicans sent out a press release Friday afternoon that said the organization had planned a counter protest to begin at 6 p.m. As of 7 p.m. no counter protesters had taken to the street aside from a group of people who claimed to be Ron Paul supporters who stood on the street for a few minutes.

2. The Marshall University College Republican didn't show? Maybe

he did but no one noticed. Kind of reminds me of the "Idaho Mountain Boys" militia group. Their "leader" would write letters to the editor and was constantly mocked as being "The Idaho Mountain Boy". It turned out to be more of an unemployed drunk support group of about three at it's peak.
