Even down here in a VERY Red county we had a protest last Thursday and it's morphed into a MOVEMENT! We already have a website set up, blog site and have a meeting planned to set-up committees. At our Occupy site volunteers are signing up for various jobs with ways to go forward and get more involved. We're growing as I type and I'm SO EXCITED!

I have a sister who lives in TX, a Repuke who was ONCE super supporter of Rick Perry, and she actually told me last night she was APPALLED by what he's been saying! I don't talk politics with her, she just brought it up. Told me that OccupyAustin had been going on for THREE days! But, she did say... don't get your hopes up! She's not joining in, just told me she was giving me advice! Whoops... too late!

I told her I NEVER use the word HOPE anymore, just crossing my fingers and wishing for more. But did tell HER don't be surprised if this thing grows and grows!

It's anyone's guess right now, but it's looking good despite TPTB looking the other way and trying to IGNORE it!

8. They are having a hard time handling the truth

Those tactics worked in past protests, being they only lasted a few hours, they spun it, then "nothing to see here, move on. They are having a hard time with this. The message of OWS is the truth, and they don't know what to do with that. I love it.
