equipment. I'll check again later.
On another note: I did not realize that Google would translate sites from Welsh to English. Cool beans. I spent three days in Wales for the Eisteddfod in 1985, and enjoyed myself immensely. The California choir I was with competed and took 3rd place in the mixed chorus category. I was on the trip as part of their accompanying orchestra, which was of no use during the Eisteddfod, so I had lots of time to explore. Delightful place. I could live there with pleasure.

2. Was that the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen? |
|
I've never been to that one, but it's supposed to great with choirs and musical groups from all over the world competing.
I've been to the National Eisteddfod, which is all in Welsh and includes poetry. I love it in Wales. Glad you enjoyed your time there.

3. Yes, the International Eisteddfod. |

We all stayed in Llandudno, and were bused to Llangollen. Since I was not in the choral group, I stayed in Llandudno and branched out from there, except for their actual performance. I saw a good deal of that part of Wales, mostly by hitchhiking and walking. Fascinating place and very hospitable people, there. I haven't been able to get back since, though. More's the pity.
