I know about the provocateurs but I didn't know the actual protesters were trying to move the protest inside the museum. That would be inviting a security response.

I see the banners in your picture link. That was probably not a real good idea to move it inside among exhibits and tourists.

who unfurled the banner were allowed in by security, but when they unfurled the banner, that is when the security people decided to close the museum.
