This was a bumpersticker on a large van, complete with oversize tires, in front of me today...

Above the sticker was a smaller one: An American flag. Written above it: Pro American. And below: Anti Obama

Several years ago, an acquaintance of mine displayed a bumper sticker that said something like "If you toucha my truck, I breaka you face."

I advised him that he was being antagonistic and inviting trouble--he disregarded me. A few months later, he and his son were attending a night football game and upon returning to their vehicle, discovered several broken windows and flat tires.

It is not wise to be the anonymous antagonist.

I scared the hell outta some poor guy in a pickup truck last Friday. He was ahead of me in the other lane at a stop light. On his truck was an "I support the President" bumper sticker. When I drove by I rolled down my window, waved and gave him a thumbs up. I think he thought I was going to shoot him because he looked absolutely terrified (it's dangerous to have pro Obama/Democratic stickers on your car here). I made a desperate gesture towards his window and yelled, "Obama 2012!". He laughed and returned the thumbs up and yelled back, "I'm in!". He had obviously received the email from OFA. :)

There are so few of us here that bonding in traffic is always surprising...and obviously a little frightening.

A more perplexing story: On my way home awhile ago I was coming up behind a huge pickup painted in camouflage. :eyes: I could see the bumper and window were covered with stickers and thought "here we go". When I caught up to him at a light I busted out laughing. There were two of the most redneck mf's you've ever seen in this giant Ford truck, mud tires and...Obama '08 AND Obama '12 stickers. Right between the two: "Rednecks for Obama". They also had a few other stickers that were proDemocratic. I bet those two spend a lot of time explaining themselves.
