2. OWS should occupy the Capitol too. .. .I wish I could participate!
And the 2 Democrats (Montana and Nebraska) who voted against the job bills should be castrated in 2012 elections!

26. I've been saying this for weeks. Wall street is only a symptom of the problem.
The real enablers are in Congress.

As long as unfettered greed and risk-taking is legal, the bankers and traders will continue to skim as much as they can.

6. They would rather take down the county
Over party politics. People should remember the GOP, despite the pain Americans are going through, would rather sabotage any recovery for power.

7. This is what happens when the only acceptable remedy
is hoping politicians that are bought and paid for by the ruling class pass a bill that actually benefits the people of this country.

The truth is, the bill sucked. It sucks either way, if it passes or if it doesn't.

Yet it becomes the focus of so many people's energy, if it will get through or not. It's like a sports event, people root for their own team whether or not the team sucks.

Divide and conquer. Distraction.

OWS isn't the last hope for people but it may be the *first step* towards hope for the people. We've got a long, difficult road ahead of us either way.

8. But they were able to pass a bill

that criminalizes the free speech of regular citizens.

The House has been taken over by greedy, cruel sociopaths.

If they think the American public is still blind to this, they have a rude awakening due.

11. If people that support jobs bills eschew politics
then politicians that oppose jobs bills get elected.

Progress will not be made until sensible candidates are nominated by the Democratic Party and win in the general election.

The sorts of folks who currently hold seats in the House and Senate are irresponsible and unaccountable. Protesting them is not going to make them change their behavior. They need to be replaced. (However to the extent that protesting raises awareness of issues and facilitates the process of replacing them, it can be a useful tactic.)

12. We may honestly be moving to the verge of real revolution...
I mean I would think not but all of the pieces seem to be in place in a very weird way and as my wife likes to say - things happen very quickly during periods of instability.

Wow! Yeah we may be seeing important human history unfolding before our eyes. I know which side I'm on - that's for damn sure!

15. We need a government policy that will create private sector hiring.
I don't believe the Jobs Bill that Obama proposed will do that. Increased public sector hiring is not going to solve our problems, so maybe voting it down was not such a bad thing.

21. Why is everyone acting like...
They just discovered this it has been going on every since Obama took office. I get so tired of hearing about how he had a majority and he did nothing with it.

He didn't because many of the so called Dems were/are republiCONS and have been working with there republiCONS all along..

24. Yes. OWS is the last hope for the people.
Republicans will filibuster everything, and the Senate Majority Leader does not have the spine to get legislation passed by ending the filibuster.

Basically, they do what Wall St directs them to do.

25. Don't worry the United States democratic process will save us!
LOLOLOLOL! Hell they already don't give a shit if you have healthcare or not. They are getting ready to pass more job killing free trade agreements to boot.

They have jobs, a lifetime pension and free healthcare for life. And prolly the vast majority are filthy rich 1%ers!

There is NO salvation in either political party as far as I can see.
