That I thought you might be interested in learning about. The Ellis Urban Village project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a community project in an area aimed at developing an area of that city hit hard by the flood of 2008. An innovative approach to using land in a fashion which supports the idea of community, this project is rapidly close to implementation.

Just wanted to point out that changes in community are also occurring which are quieter but show promise of shaping a new type of society.
