H. Cain's 999 plan?
The 9% sales tax, is that on top of existing sales tax? That would make ours 18.5%.

1. Yeah. And as the other retubbies pointed out, that's the "introductory rate!"
It'll only go up from there.

2. Anything that comes out of Congress does not change current state taxes.
Or property taxes, or state income taxes.

4. Herman Cain is just thinking like a guy that wants to sell pizzas.

I swear its sound like something a pizza place would do, 9 toppings, 9 breadsticks for 9 dollars.

Thats a lot of toppings!

7. if it ever passed, it would mean a massive criminal underground market
for non-taxed goods. Who wins with a massive 18.5 % tax rate on goods. The mob would win.

9. Gawd, I hope the Republicans nominate this guy as their candidate.
This will go over real well with the 99%ers.

13. Cain's tax leveler: the 99% have to buy a lot of stuff used, instead of new
See, that's how we lower our taxes and achieve a fair rate. If he gets his way, HE will be why we can't have nice things.

That's Herman Cain's 'Plan 999 from Outer Space'...
