It's not unemployment they're prolonging. It's the inevitable fact that ultimately they're plan is to make all of us so desperate that we'll work for next to nothing. Then everyone will be employed! Like slaves, but employed.

Fewer workers means less tax revenue, which advances Norquist's goal of bankrupting government at all levels, leading to selling of the common infrastructure to private corporations and destroying unions. This is the GOP plan.
