How to give health care to 3,333,333 people |
|
Last year Wall Street bonuses were 20 billion. If you use $6000/yr premiums, the number of people that could have health care would be the above number. Investment banks had 50 billion in profits. That's another 8,333,333 people.
But I'd rather these hedge fund managers and bankers get the money. The uninsured would have no motivation to work.

1. After taxes, the amount is much less. |

35% federal, 1.45% Medicare, 4% NY city tax, 8% to NY state= almost 50%, so right there you have to cut your number in half.
