They are problem puppies now, but they can be trained. And yes, I've had friends who were cops. Not in a while, I will say, but really, I'm willing to give them a hearty welcome when they stop behaving like assholes. And as I said, they serve our movement, either way. They get a sarcastic thank you or a joyous welcome, depending on which side they choose to fight.

They actually are a necessary part of the movement right now, doing just what they are doing. We grow stronger with each brutal action. Ghandi understood this. The Arabs understood this during their Arab Spring and we are learning now too. We must push back non-violently. The violence must all come from the oligarchs and their henchmen. And we will persevere. We will be heard. We need hardening of resolve. This is what must be.
