I tried to log in to see what the plans are for Occupy Los Angeles because I promised to go there to speak to them about a community project. I cannot seem to get into the Occupy Los Angeles.org website from the internet.
How does that work? Why am I unable to Google and go to that website?
Is it my computer?

1. Cloud FLARE, not Cloud Fare |
|
It's network software, and you're an outsider. This may be a termporary situation because of traffic, or maybe you need to be a registered user.
You've requested a page on a website (www.occupylosangeles.org) that is on the CloudFlare network. Unfortunately, the host web server does not appear to be configured to accept web traffic or serve web traffic. If you are the owner of this website, you should login to CloudFlare and change the DNS records for to resolve to a server configured to serve web traffic.

2. Cloudflare is a service that websites can use... |
|
It basically works as an intermediary between the users and the site. It allows for a number of services that the site can take advantage of, the primary being that it prevents some of the traffic from hitting actual servers by sending cached versions. It also does some security monitoring and stuff like that too. Anyway, if you're getting a cloudflare error like the one you mentioned, it's 'cause the actual site was probably down for whatever reason. :)
