It's been a long time since I've been able to camp anywhere. Shoot, even when I go fishing I have to take a comfy chair and head home after an hour or two. So, as thrilled as I am to see the growing crowds, there's a part of me that is just plain envious of those who can be there. That said, there's not a thing stopping me from "occupying" whatever spot I find myself in. To that end I've been making small posters and putting them on my dashboard; I've shared some of those posters here and other places on line. And guess what? It's getting noticed! This morning I was returning from a doctor appointment when another driver honked, pointed at my little sign in the window and grinned while giving a thumbs-up. Then, just a few minutes ago, I was stopped at a red light and the driver next to me repeated the earlier driver's actions.
Yeah, I know, two whole people. Big whoop. But this area is not exactly a hotbed of liberal activity, if you know what I mean. So I'm kinda stoked. Just cuz I can't get to the big rallies doesn't mean I don't have a voice, right?
So I'll just keep occupying Parking Lot and Highway, Occupy-On-Wheels. Feel free to join in!

When I was employed I "occupied" my little office much to the chagrin of my fellow teabagger/conservative a-hole employees. I LOVED upsetting them without even having to speak.

9. Just two for you but think what two for every DUer would mean. We |

have needed a way to show solidarity with the occupiers and this may be one very good way to do it. I wonder if my grandson's car has insurance for vandalism when grandma uses it as a protest vehicle?
