At least 10 cops on motorbikes drove north on bway into the protesters beeping their horns.Standoff between marchers heading south and cops going north.

Our Sarah Feinsmith reports from Zuccotti Park: "They are playing the tambourine and singing 'Let's get together and feel all right' and 'Can't Buy Me Love.' Here, Kevin and Nadette of the Peace Museum embrace in a tree hugging and kissing happiness ceremony."

The marchers have swelled again in number. They are now on Broadway and Fulton. They are staying on the sidewalk. "Whose streets? Our streets!" they chant.

Looks like the NYPD is mobilizing some extra muscle in the form of cops on scooters, seen here in this picture on the north side of the park at the corner of Liberty st and Broadway. Behind that gang of New York's two-wheeled finest is a large NYPD flatbed truck with metal barriers piled in the back.

A brass band has now paraded through the Occupy Wall Street masses in Zuccotti Park and is entertaining the crowds at the steps nearest Broadway. One man next to me is holding his broom aloft and rattling a tambourine. Others are dancing. The trumpet player has a sign on her instrument saying: "class war".

7:17 AM Erik Badia
Crowd here is wild and there are tons of signs, songs, chants and hugs going around, as you can see in the picture.

7:11 AM Matthew Lysiak
The marchers are now circling back around to the square in hopes of getting more people to join.

8:09 AM Matthew Lysiak
Protestors moved right past City Hall and are now moving back to the square. It's looks like their number has swelled to around five hundred people.

8:09 AM Erik Badia
Cops in riot gear, at least 40 of them, headed down Broadway at the Charging Bull statue towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

Row of cops guarding the Bank of New York. Commander says "save that for your scrap book" as I take a photo.
