Micheal Ratner is saying to Amy that these private owners
Edited on Fri Oct-14-11 08:00 AM by EFerrari
can't just make up new rules for the park because they don't like the way things are going for them.

Amy showed how the management co. put up a new sign with a raft of rules, a plastic thing with tape, next to a metal sign with "no skating, skateboarding" that has always been there.

I'm so happy that #OWS has Ratner to represent them. He's perfect for this job. :)

No link yet to today's show.

ETA: Ratner is the head of the Center for Constitutional Rights.

1. Ratner is good, yes
OWS keeps growing legs. the 1%'r are bound to be taking notice by now.
I'll bet there is some assets being shoved around trying to hide them like the world has never seen before about right now.

2. Looks like that 'Patriot Act' came in really handy.

Like it was made for the situation.

All that government money spent on militarizing the police being put to good use. :sarcasm: for those who don't get it.

3. Made it way easier to bug everyone's phones and use CIA/DIA for domestic Operation CHAOS-type
infiltration, provocation, and disruption campaigns against just about anyone they don't like.

Otherwise, things are pretty much as they were four decades ago when they put together Operation GARDENPLOT - the civil disturbances plan to take federal and military control over police responses around the country.

5. Each time, they get better technology, but so do we.
We also learn from our mistakes of the past.
