First, let's run over all the lawyers -- NYPD run over #OWS legal observer's leg. |

4. Oh, like the OWS lawyer that got run over by the cops? |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-14-11 12:58 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
The volunteer lawyer who was there to help the OWS people and was run over for his efforts? That lawyer?
Not cool. An assholish thing to say, under the circumstances.
BTW, a few years ago I volunteered as a lawyer-poll watcher to try to help keep the GOPers from stealing our election. I didn't get run over but I damn near froze to death. Do I also belong down there with the run-over guy? How about Morris Dees and the other lawyers at the Southern Poverty Law Center? The ACLU? The volunteer lawyers who work for the Innocence Project to get wrongfully-convicted people off death row? Them, too?
Comments like yours seriously piss me off.

9. The OP was alluding to Shakespeare The Second part of King Henry the Sixth, Act 4 Scene 2 |
|
"DICK The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"
So be pissed if you can't take a joke.

25. Humor saves us, imho. It sure doesn't mean anyone was amused by the incident itself. |
|
If I don't get a good laugh at least once a day, I sink. Usually the laugh is at myself for being too serious and intense.
I know it works for me. :)

17. I was quite aware of the OP's allusion. But your "joke" wasn't funny. |
|
I've heard it many times before, and it's never funny.

A comic?
Everyone, especially REPUBLICANS, hate lawyers...until they need one, then "Money is no object, just get me the best lawyer money can buy!"

Didn't even try to get it off of him. If he's a legal observer, I hope he sues.

legal friends, and some of them occupy high places.

Looks like the cop ran over both legs (the left one first..the bike was still moving...rolling over the left foot) ...and then the cop stopped his motorcycle while on top of the man's right foot/ankle, pinning it down.

14. Is that the guy that lost his balance? |
|
I saw it reported that someone lost his balance and fell down.
So they arrested him for what? illegally having a scooter parked on his shin? Knocking over the scooter to get it off his shin?

|
view showed what happened after they dragged off.
He was rolled onto his chest & a fucking pig sat on his back & calmly placed his nightstick across his neck & cut his wind off from the pressure. His face was not bloodied yet.
This is a great way th kill or permanently injure someone & he was completely helpless. Y
ou pigs out there are lucky I DON't work at Dunkin Donuts

Maybe he is grave injured - and not in a condition to speak and they don't want people to know? Army Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter_Intelligence_Corps -- masquerades as police and FBI.
