WE ARE The 1%. WE STAND With The 99%.

I’m young and healthy, always been. I’ve had the best school and university education possible. Right now I’m studying a postgraduate in one of the best universities in the World, and living abroad. My family has always been there and taken care of my needs. They have also taught me values and responsibility, and raised me the best they could, which is a lot. I Have never seen myself in necessity of any kind, and I have only worked when I wanted to. I have travelled: I know more than 20 countries. I enjoy my youth, and carry a normal life. I have had great friends for more than a decade, and they are still there and probably always be. I am still young and my future is bright and full of opportunities. I feel that I have to give back to the World something for all I’ve been given.

I AM THE 1%, I STAND WITH THE 99%!!!

My family didn’t have much growing up. Since I was 16, I have worked for everything I have. I know I have more than I need. I hope for change for those less fortunate. I am the 1 percent. I stand with the 99 percent.

I was born in a terrific hospital and received all the pre and postnatal care a baby needs. I have enough clothes, toys, food and medicine for three babies. My parents have health insurance and my pediatrician is amazing. When I got reflux the doctor saw me on a Saturday. I even have a college fund already.
There are 17,000,000 children in America who go hungry every day. Shame on us for not taking care of our youngest most innocent citizens. My generation needs help. We need large-scale redistribution of wealth and the rebalancing of our moral and economic compass.

I am an only child

I’ve worked since I was 16, though i didnt have too

My parents and their parents immigrated to North America with a dream for a better life for their children

My father went to college and became a lawyer

I didnt have that same fire or drive, I have 3 University degrees, have a very good job, provide for my family and myself

I get upset when my satellite radio doesnt work on the way into the office, or if the HD is upconverted

I take for too much for granted and for that I am ashamed

I have taught my children well, to respect everyone, equally and fairly to appreciate the opportunities they have and to help wherever and however they can

Where you were born, and what you were born into shouldn’t matter…opportunity is blind…but opportunity has had the life choked out of it by greed

I am the 1% and I wholeheartedly stand with the 99%

I am the son of a doctor and a lawyer, and the cost of my Crohn’s disease medication is a pittance to them. This should not be a rare thing.

Let’s redesign this system

I am the 1 percent, I stand with the 99 percent

I grew up with wealth.

RICH + WHITE =
- Straight teeth
- The help and respect of police officers
- An accent that sounds “smart”
AND THE CONSTANT
“Follow Your Dreams!”

People my age struggle to:
- Pay health care costs
- Find minimum-wage jobs
- Follow THEIR dreams while being told that THEY’RE NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH

I haven’t worked any harder than they have.

I STAND WITH THE 99 PERCENT

And I want this system to change.

Always had health insurance. Private school for 9 years. Debt free college AND graduate school Education. Inherited $300K at 20. Will inherit 2 homes from my father’s side alone. I want the system to treat ALL with dignity and justice. I am the 1%. I STAND WITH THE 99%.

I’m 14 years old. I live in a town with some of the countries best public education system’s, right in the middle of the one percent. I’m friends with the kids of millionaires. We’ve never struggled with money.

I’ve grown up with two homes- one right on the beach- and we’ve rented a house in Vermont to go skiing every winter since I was 5.

I’ve been to fancy camps, european vacations. Until my mom lost her job, I was in the one percent. I respect how hard my parents worked, but why should we thrive when other’s can’t survive. I was the one percent, I stand with the 99%
