Wisconsin: Tammy Baldwin smear campaign shifts into gear
http://www.jsonline.com/newswatch/131861243.html

Today's Milwaukee Urinal / Sentinel has a report today that Tammy has raised some money, as if Republicans don't do such things.

Right on the heels are the nasty, mean-spirited bigots that have taken over the JS blogs and made them incredibly unfriendly for anyone who hasn't drunk the right-wing kool-ade. Here's a sample..

Facts about Baldwin's funding in the past... Accordng the the ultra-liberal Madison newspaper "Isthmus" (07/22/11): "National lesbian and gay rights organizations were eager to send dollars to Baldwin. (referrng to her 1998 campaign). According to the Center for Responsive Politcs, during her first House campaign, 58% of Baldin contributors who gave $200 or more lived outside Wisconin. During her 2000 campaign, this figure increased to 67%."

Also, the article gives some background on her life: "He parents were UW students who divorced two months later (after her birth in 1962). Both sufferred from substance abuse. As a result, Baldwin was raised in large part by her maternal grandparents, David and Doris Green. David was a biochemistry professor, and Doris was head theater costume designer at the UW-Madison."

She grew up in a household where all of the money came from affluent public sector jobs from UW-Madison. She herself has never had any type of career in the private sector whatsoever. She interned in Gov. Tony Earl's office while in college, went to the Madison Common Council, then became a Dane County Supervisor, then State representative for the Madison area, etc.

Baldwin's entire life, childhood on, has been totally public sector, almost all in Madison. These are the facts of who she is. Any wonder her views are what they are? Any wonder that during the Spring protests at the Capitol, she was on the stage with Michael Moore? Any wonder that she doesn't really understand the private sector and has an apparent dislike for private business / free-market economics? It's a foreign world to her.

For the uninformed, "ultra liberal" refers to any media other than Fox News.

Any support you can give to Tammy is appreciated.

2. Yep. As evidenced by this comment...
Oh, the liberals are only supported by the common folk; what a ridiculous presumption. Great idea, elect a les extremist lib; watch our country slip farther and farther into a depression. This fall is precipitous, and has been led by the great Islamist in chief, Mr B. Hussein Obama. I cannot wait to watch him fall. I will buy a really nice steak dinner on the savings from the union's drastically reduced impact on my taxes.
