Too many things to clip in here but it looks daunting for 2012. His money helped take 18/20 legislative seats and they are redistricting for republicans. We have a big job to hold NC.

2. he couldn't buy Tuesday's Wake Co elections, however
Pretty much a Dem sweep. The Chair of the now infamous Tea-Party controlled Wake County School Board was ousted in a primarily Republican district.

4. And the turnout? 22%! Two years ago the Repubs took over
the Wake County School Board with an 11% voter turnout. Yes. 11%.

PEOPLE NEED TO VOTE IN EVERY SINGLE ELECTION!!!!

9. I heard about this on Fresh Air
Pope, the Koch brothers, and ALEC have been busy beavers. Do we have anything that approaches their level of organization? This is like fighting the Borg from Star Trek.

11. History continues to overwhelm with irony
To think that the outright purchase of seats in the legislature was one of the reasons we separated ourselves from Great Britain...
