MSM.com headline: Charges brought against Catholic Bishop Finn

Boy, this is radical. Bishop Finn is the head of the St. Joseph Kansas City diocese.

We had a really rotten priest here - close to me - that is in jail awaiting trial for child porn. There are also federal charges against him.

The Kansas City Star has been all over the Catholic Church for weeks about this scandal. The heads of the church knew about this guy and did nothing. The principal of the school where he was priest tried to get someone's attention and failed.

Well! Misdemeanor charges have been brought against the Bishop and some others. They got him for not reporting porn.

Wow! It's about time. I think this has gone on since last May.

I really like the Catholic Faith. It's the Church I have huge problems with.

I do know that the poor people at St. Patricks where Ratigan was priest are really upset over all of this. It was so unnecessary.

Why else would someone NOT turn in someone like Ratigan? Finn is claiming ignorance of all this, but the diocese had the goddam pictures back in December and instead of calling the cops, they swept Ratigan off to an out of state nut house. They only called the cops in May because they couldn't keep Ratigan off the child porn.

These people are just fucking evil.

Wasn't there a Montgomery who was in charge of this sort of thing. At one time he had been accused of child abuse but was cleared.

When did Finn actually become aware of all of this?
