South side of Birmingham.

Headed back to Brunswick, GA to load again. Delivered today in the Memphis area.

North West Alabama and North East Mississippi is quite lovely. Rolling hills - actually, more like rolling mountains, just not high peaks. Certainly nothing like where you are, but still pretty countryside.

400 or so to the port - 6 1/2 hours driving.

I'm up awful late so I have yet to decide whether or not I'll load tomorrow (Saturday) or do it Sunday. We'll see.

Skritch the Nickster for me, willya?

Oh...and BTW, you know what that fireplace with the logs around it needs?

11. Dead Log is a "prescribed burn."

"Controlled Burn" is no longer in the lexicon. They don't always have control of these burns!

I really liked the ones you took of the town you visited while working there. And, of course I love all your photos from your Summer job and all the shots of Nick. I'd love to see photos of Utah. I passed through there on a train from Denver to San Francisco. It was uniquely awesome.
