Why the TEA PARTY will eventually support Romney. |
|
Tweety had the Tea Party Leader on Hardball on Friday. After much discussion, TPLeader says to Chris, "You are missing our strategy.....THE SENATE. We are focused on winning the Senate, keeping the House. If we have Senate and House, the President(Romney) does what we want. He explained that they would be happy if a "real" conservative wins the Primary but it is more important that they get more Tea Party members in both bodies. This way they rule. In other words they will get behind Romney if he wins the Primary.
Chris, In other words, you will control him.(Romney)
I hope the Democratic Senators are not waiting until the last minute to campaign. They should be campaigning right now. Their opposition is.

2. MONEY = The real reason. |
|
Money runs the tea party movement now. Tons of fat cats and corporations. Of course they will support the eventual nominee and try to keep any fracturing of the movement squashed.

People are apathetic towards Romney in conservative circles. They talk a good game, but he wouldn't win no matter who is his VP. He might be able to squeak by as someone's VP, but never the way around.
