The wave of protest cover all continents
In many German cities protested on Saturday against critics of capitalism along American lines, the power of financial markets and call for greater social justice.

With the performance of the play "Europe - a Greek tragedy" began in Frankfurt, the protests against the consequences of the global financial crisis. According to the police after about 5,000 demonstrators marched for a rally outside the headquarters of the European Central Bank (ECB). Had called for, among other things, the organizations Occupy Frankfurt and Attac. A spokesman for the loose alliance announced a peaceful blockade of the square in front of the ECB "for an indefinite time".

In Cologne, a demonstration by about 1,500 people moved from Chlodwigplatz through the city, a police spokesman said. In Munich, about 1,000 people demonstrated for democracy and against the injustice of the financial system. Posters called for, to terminate accounts of "bad banks" to tax and financial speculation. 'Save the savers, not the banks "was written on a poster next to the word" savers "was the" 99% ". In Berlin, protesters want to move to the chancellery. Larger demonstrations are expected in Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig and Stuttgart.

1. Europeans do such historically, and well but for some violence;
headline says 'all continents,' but I don't see more than N. America + Europe in story; would like to see/hear about more. I think I've seen Australia involved, somewhere.
