Ariz. Tea Party Leader Worried About Threats
CBS/AP) TUCSON, Ariz. - The co-founder of the Tucson Tea Party is worried about the threats he is receiving, including the remark he says a shooting victim made to him at a televised town hall meeting.

Trent Humphries told The Associated Press on Sunday he was surprised when shooting victim James Eric Fuller took a picture of him and said "you're dead."

The 63-year-old Fuller was arrested Saturday on disorderly conduct and threat charges and taken for a psychiatric exam.

Authorities say he began ranting at the end of ABC News' forum.

"Deputies made contact with him, attempted to remove him, and he turned around and yelled at everybody and called them all whores," Pima County sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan told The Associated Press.

1. let me get this straight -- a teabagger, one of a group known to carry signs about the 2nd amendment
And other members who carried weapons to a rally, is *afraid* when the same threats of violence are turned back on them? Oh my! Another *all mouth - wide yellow streak* has been spotted in the teabagger herd.

Who'da thunk it? :sarcasm:

7. The environment is easy for them when they are the only people walking around with guns.

Now that the other side is threatening with guns, or most advanced lethal weapons, teabaggers are having second thoughts. The teabagger's fear is exactly why his side should not have opened the can of hate that they opened, closing that can is going to be hell.

of their families. The hope is that fear now being between their skulls will cause them to recalibrate and tone down their rhetoric and imagery.

13. or they can become professional victims like Palin and crank up the rhetoric
even more.

We really don't know which way this mess will fly. I don't have much faith that these people will recalibrate their brains. They live on fear and propaganda.

5. Thought him and his buddies had guns.

Guns are rather useless against a patient, clever and relentless assailant.

If aggressive language and imagery does not stop, the day will come when the people that traffic in that stuff will be afraid to show themselves in public. Violent language and imagery is not a one way deal, it ultimately comes back at us.

9. That was the same guy that said he was not going to change anything after carnage
at Giffords' constituent meeting. Now he realizes that there are people out and about with guns that despises his ass. All one can hope for is that the damned fool realize the idiocy of his ways. But I would not bet on that outcome, those morons think that they can shoot a patient, skilled assassin that has tracked them and chosen the right moment to strike, none of us can survive such an attack without the hand of God intervening.

10. Trent & his teabaggers certainly can dish threats out, but they obviously can't take them.

11. What in the hell is he afraid of..
they are the ones who brought all of the signs to their rallies calling for the death of our President, and for revolution. Aren't they the ones with all of the guns?

Didn't they show up at healthcare rallies with their guns to send a message to us?What I took from those scenes was that they were going to shoot us because we wanted healthcare and there was not going to be any healthcare for us after the deeds were done.

After all aren't they the only ones who have guns? Aren't they the bad asses who say "these colors don't run"?

19. Karma is a bitch, Mr. Humphries.
Lie in the bed you and your ilk made for yourselves, you whiney-assed titty baby.

Not that I believe for a minute that they're really getting threats. This is nothing but an attempt at trying to prove that "They do it, too."
