Hey Teabaggers. This is what a real movement looks like. |
|
Suck it up and learn something.

4. Let's not start bragging until this movement produces some electoral victories. |
|
The Tea Party did it for their side in 2010. Insulting and disdaining them does not make that fact go away. Let's see if we can work as hard to take the House back from them next year.

6. I guess I'm just cynical. But, I don't really see a purpose in it, otherwise. |
|
Simply screaming at the powers-that-be doesn't seem to have much effect. They don't give a damn, unless their interests are threatened.

10. They're mostly bought and paid for |

so it really doesn't matter. You can make the point that we need to elect people who actually work for their constituents. Maybe they could do well endorsing Elizabeth Warren et. al.

12. Unfortunately, electing the "right" people never seems to work. |
|
Throughout our history, people have thought that if they elect a person to office who is good and trustworthy; who will go to Washington to truly represent the people, then the system would be changed for the better. However, this never seems to work out as planned. I am sure that almost all office seekers intend to be different and force the system to improve. But, they system always winds up changing them, and they become part of the problem. There must be a solution, though. Damned if I know what it is, though.
