and shames me. I stayed home today, telling myself I was too old (in my 50s) to go...I've been wrestling with this for awhile now. I protested my ass off back in the day. I marched and "sat in" and held signs until my arms hurt. I was kind of telling myself this was a new revolution for a new generation. But I've been poor all my life, and I'm a small business person who gets screwed every year on taxes. I'm facing my retirement years (although for me there is no such thing as retirement) with no savings, no health insurance, no pension. Surely I epitomize the 99% and surely I should be out there.
