Is it easier to get into Congress or the White House than to get on a plane? |
|
I'm just curious, given the extreme measures the TSA has taken, if it's harder to get onto a plane than it is to walk into the White House or Congress as a tourist.

3. Probably not. I heard a vice president speak once at the old Executive Office Building |

We all had to submit our names and other info several days in advance so secret service could double-check us all; then we went through a very long security line, with multiple detectors and repeated rechecks of ID against the secret service approved list, a process that took something like two or two-and-a-half hours. This was several years before 9/11
Airport security? Need ID and a boarding pass. They run you through a detector. Takes me between five minutes and a hour, depending mostly on the line

riverfront condos in Detroit. I'd say "it's easier to get into the WH than it is to get into one of those buildings.".
