PICS from yesterday's Occupy Tacoma march from People's Park to Pacific Avenue (PIC HEAVY)

I am so proud of Tacoma. We really are the 99%. Students, unemployed, seniors, vets, unions, workers, young and old turned out to show their support!

you really captured the the crowd well in these photos. it was wonderful to have so much support marching through town. those who camped out are the greatest. it was not warm out and the sprinklers went off at 4:00 am. that part was not too fun.
glad you got a picture of the "cat ballou" players. they strummed their guitars and sang the whole route.

11. Thank you!
Inspiring photos. I notice how many are carrying signs they themselves made. That is seldom if ever the case at rallies for candidates.

16. Tacoma is a strong labor town, but we also have a large military population
A lot of broken vets returning home. They are concerned about cuts to healthcare. So many stories of people whose lives would be negatively impacted by the cuts the government wants to inflict on us.

I heard many stories about people who couldn't afford basic necessities. Sad.
