Trump plays birther card at Bachmann campaign event
Trump plays birther card at Bachmann campaign event

Business mogul Donald Trump used the opportunity of speaking at Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s “tele-townhall” event Monday to say “someone should analyze” President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

During an answer to a question about China, Trump noted that he had been at the top of the polls when he decided not to seek the Republican nomination.

“When I left the race, I was so disappointed in the mistakes the Republican Party was making,” Trump declared. “As Michele will tell you, I was leading in the polls. I didn’t understand why somebody didn’t pick up what I was saying about China, about OPEC.”

“And that’s why I was leading, not just the birth certificate — which I’m very proud of. I got this guy to do something that he didn’t want to do. And somebody should continue to analyze that whole deal, by the way.”

5. I remember being roundly criticized here
for saying that the President was a fool to give in to this asshat. Even though he jumped through Trump's hoop, the 1%'er is still playing the birther game.

I knew that releasing the BC would demean Barack Obama in peoples' eyes, and the slide in his poll numbers don't prove me wrong.

7. Except you were dead wrong.
No one except Trump is talking about the birth certificate, and people roll their eyes when he does.

And tell me, exactly, how Mr. Obama was demeaned by thus?

He dished out a huge bowl of Shut The Fuck Up, and killed Trump's political ambitions for all time.

Please post the slide in poll numbers, noting the time line as to when the BC was released to support your thesis.

Oh, and you fool no one.

9. He jumped through Trump's hoop
He absolutely did not need to do that. The only people who it mattered to weren't going to vote for him anyway. So much for dishing up the bowl of STFU, they're still laughing at this asshat with the bad combover making his jokes about it.

That's my take on it. I'm not trying to fool anybody. You don't get into the mud to wrestle with a pig.

10. Obama made Trump look like the idiot that he is.
And no one cares what he has to say about anything anymore because of that.

It does seem to bother you, however.

12. I see you decided to deflect.
No problem, you can't answer my question about the poll numbers, it just confirms what I already knew.

Good Luck with your mission, Mr. Obama will be re-elected in spite of you and your misgivings.
