Revolution...it is not always violent
This one is using Ghandhi's non violent principles. I expect cops to get worst. This freaks authorities more tan people with muskets in Boston oh circa 1774. They got no clue how to properly react to non violence. So, I will not be shocked to see more provocateours. I will not be shocked to see more police violence. This is a threat, and the game is over. But as such...well those who wield power don't give it up easily.

Keep the faith...and hope this remains peaceful.

1. Same here. Violent ones rarely turn out well
because the shadowy billionaires will just change uniforms and go on as before.

3. I agree with you. Violence should always be a last resort.
Though I will admit I wouldn't mind seeing the protesters taking a few lessons from your screen name as well as Gandhi. I've always like Rosa Luxemburg.

4. It is certain that if the protests continue, it will evolve to violence...
It is the nature of what we are against.
We can be non violent but the powerful few definitely are not.
As it has been for as long as man has existed.
It is noble to be non violent but as I instructed my children when they were young... over twenty years ago...
"Never start a fight but always finish it."
They will be violent... expect it and don't be surprised.
The real question is, What will we do when they start killing us?

7. Ghandhi knew the answer
Remain non-violent...all he did was defeat Britain.

5. Just remember, if you get arrested, demand a jury trial. If you get thrown into the system...
...you might as well do some clogging while you're there.

6. I think something is different this time. We're fighting against an identified enemy. 1%.
I just get the feeling everyone, including police and military, know this is in their interest as well. And that we're not fighting against some political foe that only one side has interest in. We may very well see police toning down their force. At least one can hope. After all, they are not part of the 1%. And they have everything to win if this succeeds. Medical costs alone are one huge factor in this. Who isn't affected by that?
