30 hours in jail for "disorderly conduct" at Citibank
=========
http://wonkette.com/454908/the-nyc-citibank-arrests-according-to-the-ows-videographer

"Today, I went down to Central Booking in Manhattan for the arraignments of the 24 people arrested. They were in jail for almost 30 hours. Most were charged with disorderly conduct, but a few have more serious charges–including trespassing and resisting arrest."
=========

"New York law, as interpreted by the state courts, forbids a delay of more than 24 hours from arrest to arraignment."

2. If they had hit the cops, they'd be behind bars for years instead of 30 hours. NT

3. According to case law
not if it was an unlawful arrest. And for the record, I never said to assault a cop. Did you read the link or make an assumption?

5. I clicked the link.
That webpage lists cases of people being acquitted of resisting arrest, but there are other cases of people being convicted of resisting arrest.
