Complete list of bailout recipients
http://projects.propublica.org/bailout/list

I am not sure if this has been posted before but I think it's topical and interesting, especially as people are making decisions about where to put there money and with whom to do business. Enjoy.

3. 5th. No shame in a bailout, but shame on banks and multinationals who stash their cash offshore and
will no longer invest in US jobs. They are the biggest criminals as they still profit from doing business in this country yet will no longer create employment here. They have violated our trust.

4. I understand. It's a tool.
Compare the $ given to $ returned and the amount that these institutions screw their customers to make educated decisions.

8. I do see shame in their bailout
only because so many other businesses who DIDN'T cause the meltdown didn't get bailouts, but also for the reasons that you mention.

They were supposed to lend, and they did the opposite.
