Wisconsin AFL-CIO outlines its job agenda
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/132054553.html

..snip..

Calling the lack of jobs in Wisconsin a crisis, the Wisconsin AFL-CIO has unveiled an economic plan it hopes elected representatives will enact.

The plan is called "Rebuild Wisconsin's Middle Class."

Among the highlights:

1. Strengthen "Buy Wisconsin" and "Buy American" requirements.

2. Accountability standards should be created when grants, loans, subsidies, tax breaks, tax incentives and other financial assistance are offered to businesses. "It is only fair that the state requires ...accountability standards from business to justify a specific public investment," the group states.

3. Repeal Wisconsin Act 10, which eliminated collective bargaining for most public employees.

..end..

Accountability for corporations? Novel idea.
